Research Assistant.

An exciting opportunity for an analytical and proactive individual to promote human rights, gender equality, and drive social impact globally by conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, developing high-quality content, and assisting with various assignments-related tasks.   

Are you passionate about research that drives social impact? Join us as a Research Assistant and make a difference! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent analytical skills and a proactive attitude to support high-level consultancy assignments focused on human rights, gender equality, and social impact for UN (United Nations) agencies and international NGOs (Non-governmental Organisations). 

Job Location: Global and remote position anywhere in the world.

Employment type depending on the location of candidate: Full-time employment or service contract, with other arrangements considered for the right candidate based on their location.

About the Role.

You will be responsible for:

Conducting In-Depth Research:

  • Dive into critical topics related to human rights, gender equality, and social impact.

  • Gather and analyze data from diverse sources to gain comprehensive insights.

  • Utilize research software and tools to manage data effectively.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Apply your analytical skills to evaluate data, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide valuable insights.

  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations that communicate research findings effectively.

Content Development and Editing:

  • Contribute to the development of high-quality content, including reports, publications, and project documentation.

  • Engage in content editing to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with research objectives.

  • Administration and Coordination:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with ARSIC associates, data collectors and other stakeholders

  • Participate in administrative tasks that are essential for smooth project execution.

  • Assist in organizing project-related logistics and documentation.

  • Assist with other research-focused tasks.

Required Qualification.

  •  A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, international relations, or a relevant field.

  • Thematic Expertise: Knowledge and experience in at least two thematic priorities of ARSIC Social Impact Consulting.

  • Proven experience in conducting research, with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing research-focused tasks.

  • Excellent High analytical skills.

  • Tech-savvy with experiences or interest in utilisation of research software.

  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks, demands, and work across different time zones.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of another language is a valuable asset.
