Pillar Lead - Non-for-Profit Consulting
ARSIC Social Impact Consulting is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Non-for-Profit Pillar Lead. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of driving our mission to deliver impactful consulting services to NGOs, INGOs, and CBOs across the globe.
ARSIC has extensive collaboration with leading non-governmental organizations and is seeking a team member to lead this endeavour. As the Pillar Lead, you will oversee a broad spectrum of responsibilities ranging from provision of consultancy services to strategic planning and business development.
This role requires a blend of expertise in human rights and/or gender equality, along with strong managerial, strategic development, and leadership skills to drive our consultancy firm's pillar in alignment with our vision, mission, and long-term goals.
We are looking for someone with a long-term vision, ready to commit to co-creating a purpose-driven consultancy and research company.
Job Location: Global and remote position with priority given to candidates from Indonesia and Kenya.
Employment type: Full-time employment or service contract with probation period / other arrangements possible for a suitable candidate outside of Kenya and Indonesia.

About the Role.
You will be responsible for:
Executing consulting services:

Lead, manage, and execute a diverse range of mixed-methods and multi-country research, evaluation, and other consultancy assignments for ARSIC non-for-profit clients (INGOs, NGOS, CBOs).

Assist in the design and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Assessment, and Learning systems for different institutions and programs, featuring customized MEAL tools and data management processes.
-
Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure the excellence of consulting services and deliverables.
-
Provide technical guidance and facilitate training and capacity building in areas of expertise.
-
Act as a liaison with key stakeholders, potential partners, staff, ARSIC associates and collaborators to foster productive relationships.

Managing and business development responsibilities:
-
Execute, co-create, and contribute to the strategy to achieve short and long-term objectives of our services to NGOs, fostering company growth. Directly oversee the pillars of business operations, under your strategic responsibility.

Provide leadership and management of staff and external consultants/associates under your responsibility, including coaching, professional development, and performance evaluation.

Lead business development initiatives, including:

Partnership Development: Identify, reach out to, and cultivate relationships with new partners and business opportunities in all countries of operation.

Tender Opportunities: Lead the development of new multi-stakeholder tender opportunities, including drafting Requests for Proposals and Expressions of Interest targeting various donors.

Build and enhance the company's public profile, acting as the public speaker and public relations representative when needed, strengthening the organization's reputation, and maintaining trust relationships with stakeholders and authorities.

Write, edit, and curate engaging and informative content that highlights the organization’s work, impact, and thought leadership in the field and, in collaboration with other team members, to manage and enhance the organization's presence on various media platforms to enhance engagement and outreach.

Collaborate with other pillars within the company to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Working together with Executive Coordinator in spearheading digital transformation within the pillar, ensuring that the latest technologies are utilized for research, data analysis, and project management, and-

Other tasks as requested by the Director.
Required Qualification.
-
Master's or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender equality, sustainable development, public policy, economics, political sciences, international relations, or a related discipline;

Experience delivering research, evaluation, and other consultancy/work assignments at the national and international levels; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
-
Solid organisational and leadership skills; ability to lead multiple engagements effectively;
-
Experience drafting proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest for various agencies;
-
Expertise in one or more of ARSIC focus areas, e.g. human rights, children’s rights & child protection, gender equality & women empowerment, migration & and displacement, social protection & labour rights, inclusive & and responsible businesses, Web3 for Social Impact;

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Creativity, flexibility, and a good sense of humour;
-
Willingness and ability to work remotely and under different time zones, if required by the workflow.

Fluent in English; knowledge of another language is an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS.
